Actor David Carradine — best known for his role in the 1970s cult TV series “Kung Fu” and action films like “Kill Bill” and “Crank: High Voltage” — was found dead in a luxury Bangkok hotel in Thailand.

Many of Carradine’s loyal fans describe the actor as affable. Because of his role as a Chinese mobster in Crank: High Voltage, some moviegoers mistakenly thought he was Asian-American, a myth that some of his longtime “Kung Fu” fans believed over the years.
