About the Book:
Israeli soil has seen more bloodshed than any other land in the world. Dozens of conquerors fought over this strategically placed land.
If you’re interested in the history of Israel, you’ll find yourself reading about wars and battles quite a lot — and this book makes a perfect introduction to the topic!
Inside "Israel: A Disputed Land," you’ll read about twenty-five important battles in the history of Israel. These aren’t necessarily the bloodiest — but the most politically significant.
The book covers a wide time span: from the earliest documented battle in the history of Canaan to the Yom Kippur war of 1973.
As many of the battle sites are now visitor sites, each chapter features a sightseeing tour. Alongside a fascinating narrative, you'll find numerous photographs, artworks, and many other images that help you to visualize the events.
