About the Book:
Summer 2013. A beautiful young tiger appeared on my back deck. Because I put out water and food for her daily, she returned to me after her wanderings. A lightning-fast eater, Hoover seemed an appropriate name.
One peculiarity stands out: when I spoke to her, instead of the standard "meow," the tabby quacked her response. When I feared she had died in a winter snowstorm, I created a loving plan to bring her into the household.
This is the plan, step by step, and Hoover's story.
