About Our Mission… A Bubbly Hippo Named Bentley:
Hello and welcome! I am Argyro Graphy, the creator of Bentley Hippo. and the author of The Adventures of Bentley Hippo. Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our Indiegogo campaign with which we hope to raise funds for a unique project for a children's book series that addresses bullying and teaching children valuable lessons that impact their future. You are very kind and generous.
I created Bentley, a bubbly hippo who will teach children crucial values through my children's 5-book series. Children all over the world facing difficulties and fear will feel a sense of comfort with their new friend, Bentley, as he encourages, inspires, and motivates children of all ages.
Growing up, I was often the victim of bullying and harassment. I often felt feelings of fear and inferiority, and forty years later, I see how common my circumstances are — how common the bullying, the disrespect, the harassment, and the discrimination still are. This needs to STOP!
Writing The Adventures of Bentley Hippo, I am standing up and saying enough is enough. A mascot for positivity, kindness, sharing, acceptance and respect, Bentley is a bubbly hippo who has made it his mission to inspire children to do better and be good to one another, regardless of size, color, shape, gender or religion.
