Defend Education

Across the U.S., thousands of protesting college and university students in 33 states (including the District of Columbia) are collectively voicing their concerns about budget cuts and tuition increases like the California tuition increase. During the March 4 Day of Action to Defend Education, the police has arrested many protesters in one of the most controversial nationwide protests of its kind in U.S. history.

What else don’t tuition-hiking and budget-cutting boards of regent and tax-and-spend politicians understand about the March 4 Day of Action to Defend Education? If the record number of protesting students is any indication, many angry U.S. voters will demand term limits on ALL politicians on the local, state, and federal levels in the next and future political elections. Perhaps former California governor Jerry Brown and current California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger should spare themselves the embarrassment and end their plans to run for public office again. Good riddance!

We the People of the United States are sick and tired of voting for half-baked politicians who unashamedly lied to us. We the People of the United States are sick and tired of supporting so-called public servants who later screw us. We the People of the United States are sick and tired of the local, state and federal government scandals, abuse, corruption, fraud and waste.

In many cities, thousands of students carried hand signs like the following examples:

  • Save Education! Save a Generation! Save Humanity!
  • We need less war and more education.
  • We want democracy not Board of Regentocracy.
  • Stop raising the price of our American dream!
  • Unserviced veterans needs health Care too. End the “continous 24-month” discrimination law TODAY!
  • The California tuition increase is evil.
  • R.I.P. Our Future
  • Bring the Troops Home, Barry!
  • “UC” me now… You won’t see me after 32%.
  • Public schools needs a bailout!
  • The California tuition hike is un-American!
  • We are one world od many cultures.
  • Recognize ALL Cold War veterans! Award the Cold War Medal NOW!
  • 32 Percent Tuition Hike is Unconstitutional!
  • No more Wall Street bailouts! Invest is a student’s future… Education!

We Are Obligated To Defend Education

Sadly, it is apparent that our country is broken. On the news networks, one can view the live news reports of many student protesters. Many are protesting in California cities like Oakland, Berkeley, Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. While others are protesting in other U.S. cities like Austin, Texas.

The ongoing strikes, marches and protests against tuition hikes is indicative of the end result of the challenging economic times. Moreover, federal, state and local government scandals, abuse, corruption, fraud and waste resulted in tuition increases and the slashing of federal and states budgets.

Federal, state and local government scandals, abuse, corruption, fraud and waste have gone out of control. To ensure the security of our nation’s future, We the People of the United States must stand united to raise awareness of the unholy alliance of school officials and politicians who are reeking of sex scandals, abusing our trust, wasting our tax dollars, spending us into a deep hole of debt, operating in fraudulent activities, and engaging in corrupted activities.

Why aren’t more and more Americans uniting against the corrupted few? Each day, our once great country is falling deeper and deeper into financial ruin. Who could afford the tuition increase? Why are snobbish boards of regent are inflicting financial pain upon the students who want an education? How can a college or university student better his or her life lives without a good education?
