I am taken aback by President Barack Obama’s urging Senate Republicans to pass the controversial unemployment insurance bill, which many concerned independent voters like me have deemed to be counterproductive in boosting the U.S. economy. Like Obama’s stimulus plan, his unemployment plan is yet another failed solution for which current and future generations of tax payer will have to pay.
Officially, the honeymoon with Obama is finally over. He no longer represents political change in which many Americans can believe. His constantly shifting blame for his many failures (i.e.; his slow response to the BP oil spill, slow response in ordering skimmers to protect the coastlines of 4 U.S. states, lost of jobs in Louisiana, etc.) unto the Republicans on Capitol Hill is turning voters like me off.
Because I’m an moderate independent voter, I have absolutely no faith in either the Senate Democrats or the Senate Republicans. As Obama’s job approval rating drops, I’ve opted to track the daily progress of the heavily contested unemployment bill debate on Capitol Hill.
Sadly, Barack Obama and the Senate and House Democrats’ “tax-and-spend” strategy to foster prosperity in the U.S. is as toothless as Sarah Palin’s Palinism… Mama Grizzly. Grrr!!!
Today, the politically toothless President of the United States appeared before news reporters in the White House Rose Garden, responding to his dilemma with the double-digit unemployment crisis for which he and the Senate and House Democrats are wholly responsible.
Despite Obama’s trying to shift the blame unto the Senate and House Republicans, he and the Senate and House Democrats are wholly responsible for the current economic crisis and high unemployment rate in the U.S. Period!
Yes, 2010 is a chaotic election year — during which time the failed Obama stimulus plan hasn’t created more long-term jobs to reduce the double-digit national unemployment rate. Sadly, Barack Obama turned out to be a great disappointment. Alas, he doesn’t represent “change” for which he was elected to be the 44th U.S. President of the United States.
As soon as I finished watching the so-called news conference on Bloomberg TV, in which Obama ranted that the Senate Republican minority has a misguided approach regarding the unemployment bill, I sat before the TV in my home office in utter silence.
The truth is obvious… the Obama’s unemployment bill has proven to be as toothless as Sarah Palin the Toothless Mama Grizzly. Moreover, a new recession could be just a stone’s throw away.
What every toothless politicians in Washington don’t seem to comprehend is that instead of cutting corners, they should “square corners.” Many opposing concerned voters like me realize that what Obama is advocating is very costly: the cost to extend jobless benefits could be injurious to the U.S. economy.
Obama the toothless U.S. President is now urging Senate Republicans to stop holding out-of-work Americans hostage to Washington politics and pass unemployment bill. However, many concerned voters are bracing for yet another “tax-and-spend” stimulus scheme to boost the U.S. economy. Now many angry voters are relating to Wesley Snipes’ stance on unfair taxes.
Like the Obama’s healthcare (Obamacare or Obamascare), the unemployed bill is taking the focus away from sound solutions for job creation, reformed immigration, better education, benefits for ALL disabled military veterans, and other REAL issues which affect every American. After the election, I hope my fellow American voter will adhere to the S.N.O.B. movement and “send no one back” to the U.S. Congress who is a hindrance to America’s survical.
Let incumbent politicians like Nancy Pelosi, Harry reid, Jim Demint and Barack Obama that we will not sent no one back… S.N.O.B.
