Because of merciless effects of the three-day torrential rain, the storm’s flood waters have resulted in massive flooding of Atlanta. Officials in both Cobb County and Gwinnett County have reported massive flooding in those vulnerable areas. The current weather forecast for Atlanta is predicting prolonged heavy rain and more flooding.
